The builtin zip from the Finder is much better. And more convenient.

I downloaded this too to create a tar archive because the descrption says youd be abled to create tar archives with this tool. However, you are only abled to create zip archive. This is completely useless as the finder is also abled to create zip archives

it is not able to extract sub folders.

it didnt make my file any smaller in size so to me that isnt working.

It does the simple tasks I downloaded it for. Unrar files. and by clicking them, it puts them right into iTunes. Its awesome.

nothing special, only zips. does not have any additional features like passwored protect etc. Dont need this as Mac does it native. Waste of time this.

I needed something that could extract a password-protected 7-zip archive and this tool did the trick easily when some other apps couldnt handle it. Thanks!

I downloaded this for RAR file, works.

I needed something to uncompress .rar files, and this app worked perfectly for me.

Not bed. I’ve used it for rar files and it work fine.

I downloaded it liked it for about a day and then it just kept on crashing and reporting.. who has time for that even if the app is free it could be much better..

Finaly I found an app that can open a .rar file… THANKS!!!

One more of the dozens apps that do not work under sierra

Don’t work well with 7z files. It says “Please wait, iZip is working…” but that’s it.

While the app performed fine and did not crash, I was looking for an app that could create an archive that is broken up into multiple volumes, in order to fit a 4GB+ file into a FAT32 formatted external HDD.

Opened a rar file. Waited for it to do something. Popped up a window showing the rar. Then the application stopped responding. Killed it and install unrar instead… :(

I downloaded this because the description says you can unarchive RAR files. You cant. Or at least, I couldnt. Even after adding the special iZip "enhancer" thing from the web site. I still couldnt unarchive a RAR file. Struggled with the app for 15 minutes before realized that the description was a LIE. I suppose you get what you pay for.

I downloaded this to unzip password protected zip files. It doesnt work.
