I didnt have an problems unzipping my RAR file. It was simple and easy, not to mention FREE. No complaints here.

Basically its a good product, does what it says it does - but the biggest issues I have is when inserting a number of files it sorts them in who knows what order. I usually have a list of images starting with a suffix of 1, 2, 3, etc… When I grab a 100 images and zip it, the order is all random.. I dont like not having control like that.

I dont get why an app like this is not the most downloaded and popular archive utility. As opposite to other free apps, iZip allows me to preview the contents of the compressed files, then I can choose wich files I want to extract just by dragging and dropping them, its simple and perfect!

Have a zip file of jpegs and it has an error opening. Frustrating.

I downloaded this app primarily to allow me to open zipx files. To date, I have not been able to successfully open any zips files and I have tried several different ones. At least it was free.

All I needed was something to open a password protected Zip file created with 7-zip (created on a Windows PC). This did the trick just fine for me on a 2008 MBP running Mountain Lion.

Its got some very minor bugs, but its free, no complaints here!

I WOULD LIKE IT IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DRAG AND DROP, WITH A POP UP TO NAME ZIP. TOO MANY STEP!!!!! YEMU ZIP IS WAY BETTER

Seems like a good program, but if you need to add passwords, keep looking. I could find no option to do this

I was looking for around for a program to unzip rar files for brushes to use in photoshop. I found this gave it a go an had my brushes in 5 minutes. When it opens close the archive window. Click open and go look for your rar file. Itll open 2 windows. Pick the one with the most files as thats usually the contents instead of the folder. Just drag and drop it out of the window to the location you want and wallah!

This app does exactly what it says and its free. Stop reading reviews and install it already!

I had not even heard of an RAR file until today. This app opened the file right away and was FREE. Very pleased!!

I was frustrated that the app forced me to open a .zip file in a read-only window. It took me a while to realize that it had, in fact, unzipped the folder in the original location. It works, but it wasnt as obvious as Id have liked.

Problem 1-You have to open the unzipper and manually Unzip them. Problem 2-You have to manualy reorder the files inside. Problem 3-It does not quit itself-neither does Alzip, but Alzip does not need to do either of the above. Problem 4-It is not as easy to use as Alzip.

It tantalizingly displayed the file contents of a 4.88 GB zip file, but yields an error when attempting to extract either a single file or any directories in the zipped structure. Disappointing.

Hello. The app iZip in itself is good. But it needs some patches improvement yadda yadda. I like using izip to unzip roms. i then put them on a microsd to use on my sons r4 ds. but sometimes for some of these roms while extracting ghave a message pop up. it goes "ERROR EXTRACTING An error occured while trying to load or extract one or more files" this results in the rom on the sd having zero bytes of data yet int the orginal zip file it has the correct amount if anyone can answer why this happens or the game patches this problem Izip will receive another five stars.

Its alright but it just doesnt let me shut down my computer because of updating archives even though there is nothing being updated. Can someone help?
